Cadet Warrant Officer Natalie Poirier joined the elite ranks of 12,000 Olympic torchbearers on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009. Her leg of the historic run took her from Queen Elizabeth Drive to the Embassy of Greece in Ottawa.
Natalie, 18, a resident of Orleans, Ont. and student at Carleton University, is the Training WO of 3018 “Combat Engineers Regt.” Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps in Orleans.

OUR MISSION
To safely and efficiently implement the cadet training program in Central Region.

Central Region covers the area from the Quebec/ Ontario border to Sault Ste. Marie (Ottawa area air cadet squadrons report to Eastern Region.) The region supports 271 sea, army and air cadet corps and squadrons involving over 15,000 cadets.
