Travel Requirements (Summer Camp, etc)

The ID requirements for traveling on cadet courses/camps have been changed. Effective immediately, all cadets will be required to present 2 pieces of government issued ID - at least one of which must be photo ID. School cards will no longer be accepted as identification. We are suggesting that all cadets obtain a BC Identification Card, which are available through ICBC. They are $35 and are valid for a period of 5 years. They are available at any Drivers Services Centre. You will need 2 pieces of ID and your parent/guardian (as they will need to sign their consent). Having this government issued ID will ensure that all cadets will have the correct identification when traveling with the cadet program. If you have any questions, please feel free to direct them to any member of the staff for further clarification.

"CUIDICH'N RIGH"

Cadets are encouraged to become active, responsible members of their communities. They learn valuable life and work skills like teamwork, leadership, and citizenship. Cadets also reap the personal benefits of increased self-confidence and physical fitness, learning how to take initiative, and how to make decisions. Cadets make valuable contributions to Canadian society on a daily basis in terms of environmental, citizenship and community activities.
