| Are you looking to have fun and learn something at the same time? What about getting paid more than $3000 to go to camp and ride rapids all day long. Go hiking, mountain biking and maybe even travel over seas and be PAID for it. Plus, if you are daring enough you can go parachuting at 1200 ft. These are some of the rewards you can get for being involved in the army cadet program. We meet once a week on Tuesday nights for about 3 hours. We will teach you leadership skills, marksmanship skills (Shooting), bush craft skills (camping) plus a variety of life skills that you need. As well, every couple months we go on a fun filled camping/hiking/rock-climbing/shooting trip. If this isn’t enough, you can receive: · Scholarships · Grade 11-12 Credits · Volunteer hours for CAPP(Grade 11-12) So you are asking yourself... I get to climb mountains, fight white water adventures, scuba dive and any other adventure sport I can think of for how much? The answer is FREE, in the summer you even get paid.
