CO Announcements

INTERNET USE AND CADETS - All cadets and staff are reminded that they are not permitted to create social groups or websites purporting to represent 111 Pegasus Squadron without the permission of the Commanding Officer. Cadets are further reminded that when discussing the Squadron on forums such as Cadet World, Facebook, MySpace and MSN, or in personal blogs, they are to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and should remember that this information is accessible to the public. Information that could be interpreted as harassment or unacceptable (i.e., foul language, insubordination, etc.) could be in breach of National Cadet policies and ultimately result in some form of disciplinary action being taken. That being said, cadets are strongly encouraged to speak about their experiences in the program and create these social networking sites so long as appropriate moderators are in place and the content does not result in harm to the image of the cadet program or to individual cadets or staff members. Respecting everyone is the key.
