SQUADRON TRAINING

An updated Air Cadet Program will be implemented in 2008 and will gradually replace the current Air Cadet Program. The transition will take place over a period of five years ending in 2013. This means that during this period of time, the two cadet programs will be conducted concurrently until the updated program has completely replaced the current program. | |
 | Cadets having completed a proficiency level prior to September 2008 and who wish to continue the program after this date will continue training in the proficiency level program related to the current Air Cadet Program. |
| Cadets joining in September 2008 or after will receive training in the proficiency level program related to the updated Air Cadet Program. There is only one exception for the training year 2008-09, cadets joining at 14 years old or older may be authorized to follow an accelerated training program in which proficiency levels one and two related to the current Air Cadet Program are combined. | |
